You might say we have a bit of a soccer addiction here at 651media.
We’ve taken entire days off to watch the World Cup, stopped working for several hours to catch a Champions League fixture and, of course, we’re huge fans of (and season ticket holders for) our local club, Minnesota United FC.
One of the reasons we love this game so much is the passion of the fans. And, even though we’re not (remotely) fans of Liverpool FC, we have to admit that their fans are among the best in the world. Take, for instance, the way they sing You’ll Never Walk Alone, a show tune from the Rogers and Hammerstein musical Carousel.
Why do they do that, you ask? Good question. The answer is too long to post here but here’s a nice synopsis.
