We founded 651media in 2006 with the goal of producing compelling, story-driven video content for our clients. Here’s a little more about us:
Chris Fink brings years of television experience to 651media. He is an Emmy Award-winning writer for the Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives,” and has worked on “Bizarre Foods America” and State Fair specials for Travel Channel. In a past life he was a sports reporter and anchor at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri, and at KGWN-TV in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Chris won awards from the Associated Press and the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters for both his reporting and anchoring.
Chris earned a Masters degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri, and a Communication degree from Concordia University, St. Paul. He brings creative skills that have been tested by professional experience.
Josh Whitcomb’s production experience extends all the way back to the late 1900s, when video was captured on “tapes” and editing was done in a “linear” fashion. Since then, Josh has developed a passion for the creative side of the business – dreaming, concepting, writing – but you can still catch him on location occasionally.
Josh has a strong marketing and communications background and the strategic, technical and production chops to deliver on marketing communications objectives. Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Concordia University, St. Paul.
