If you drive through the quaint Northcentral Wisconsin town of Merrill, population less than 10,000, you may not hear much other than the crickets chirping–or so one may think. That perception was the challenge Church Mutual Insurance Company approached us with.
In an effort to attract top industry talent, the company wanted to share the story of how great the town of Merrill, the greater Wausau area and their company, really is.
We packed up and drove to Merrill, stayed in a hotel, ate at their restaurants, walked their streets, took in the fresh Wisconsin air, and spoke with Church Mutual employees—really got to know the people and the place they call home.
For their video, it seemed only natural to let the region and people speak for themselves. So through interviews and b-roll, we told the story of an innovative company with traditional values that works for the greater good and is filled with excellent career growth opportunities. It’s in a safe location that’s full of natural beauty, amenities, charm, hospitality, good schools, (and maybe even a few crickets)–all making Merrill and Church Mutual the place to be.
